Detroit riser Luhh Dyl announces ‘A Time To Hurt, A Time To Heal’ LP dropping 5/1, shares new single “Nobody Dere”

Mixing sobering reflections on his hardships with the newfound realities of being a budding rapstar, Detroit MC Luhh Dyl understands that life is full of contradictions. At only 21 years old, Dyl prepares to explore those complexities as best he can with his upcoming album, A Time To Hurt, A Time To Heal

Expanding his sound, Dyl’s new album lays rapid-fire pearls of wisdom atop unexpected samples, deep musicality, and thumping low-end, creating a sonic environment inspired by his hometown of Detroit but not confined to its conventions. Dyl consciously divided A Time To Hurt, A Time To Heal (ATH2) into two parts: one side to vent his feelings, the other filled with songs meant to push him forward and help him process his pain. Home to recent singles like “Till Den,”  “Rollin With Me,” and “Still Having Problems,” a collaboration with NoCapA Time To Hurt, A Time To Heal arrives on May 1st via 300 Ent, and is available to pre-save on all platforms.

Along with the album announcement, Dyl shares “Nobody Dere,” his new single and music video. A sobering reflection on the pressure of climbing the ladder to success while navigating a growing knowledge of self, “Nobody Dere” is a vulnerable ballad flecked with acoustic guitars. Dyl matches the mood, rapping about the loneliness of life on the road: “Fifty feet in the air just tryna catch a break/Fifty thousand feet up in the air just tryna catch some air/I been working hard cause if I leave I gave it all it takes/Looked around and see who got my back and wasn’t nobody there.”
